Apple to assemble Mac book pros in the US by: Gregory Ferinstein Monday June 10th 2013
Apple is following through on their promise to assemble their new line of Mac book pros in America. This new line of computer production is planning to move the production of Mac book pros to their new production plant located in Texas. The number of production related jobs have been dropping drastically since the 1960's, it went from 29% of jobs in the 60's to only 9% of jobs in 2011 but due to new lines of production in America we have seen a bump in production related jobs from 2010-2012 and those numbers are expected to rise. I think that it is a great thing that this new line of production is coming into the US because it brings lots of jobs, gives people experience in work and stimulates economic growth in the http://techcrunch.com/2013/06/10/apple-to-manufacture-mac-pro-in-the-u-s/

  1. I agree with you, I think it is a good thing this line is coming here because that is true it will bring a lot more jobs and the unemployment rate right now is very high and the number keeps increasing. But with this coming we know that at least some will be able to get jobs, now we just have to find other jobs for the other unemployment rate.

  2. I think that apple starting to assemble some of their products in the US will be good. Not only for consumers but also for the economy. It should create more jobs.

  4. I agree that it is right for apple to bring jobs back into the US but that also means it is taking jobs out of foreign countries.
